Dec 23, 2025the jakara movement has served the sikh community since 2000, and in 2022 we saw some wonderful reminders of this journey. The jakara movement is a grassroots community-building organization working to empower, educate, and organize working-class punjabi sikhs, and other marginalized communities; Members of the jakara family have helped organize a community radio station, camps for primary and secondary students, as well as community revival and educational forums.
